Through her eyes, the universe becomes a mirror of her inner world: infinite and colorful, luminous and mysterious. This exhibition is an invitation to look upward — and inward.
**“My close relationship with the sky and the stars began in my childhood, back when I would leave the small town of Sitia and go to the village.
There, where there was no electric light, the sky was filled with millions of twinkling stars that left me in awe. Many years had to pass since then, during which I painted the alleyways of my village and all the beautiful corners of Crete.
But eventually, the time came when that childhood sky also asked to be painted. Two distinguished scientists, Giorgos Grammatikakis and Dionysis Simopoulos, were the ones who encouraged me to embark on this new artistic path.
I came face to face with galaxies, nebulas, and planets, and with all my heart I tried to create a new sky, one where the stars shine like precious gems.
I immersed myself in the infinite Universe, shaping my own universe, and now I reveal it to you — so you too can take a journey through the colorful stars offered to us by the most advanced telescopes, and by the ever-watchful eyes of the soul.”**
