Stegi Vitsentzos Kornaros seeks to contribute towards the realization of activities and events of other parties that share the same vision and may elevate Sitia to a higher cultural level. It wishes to promote any musical, theatrical, or other work of art inspired from Erotokritos, shown or performed in Sitia, and to support research work as well as colloquia on the works of Vitsentzos Kornaros and the Cretan Renaissance. Stegi intends to finance selected works and events on the subject, such as the following:
Beshcargu Room
6,500 square feet of outdoor space located adjacent to the bookstore. The centerpiece of this plaza is the Nancy Rubins’ sculpture, Airplane Parts (2005). Suitable for stand up receptions for 800 and seated events for 100. Limited tenting is allowed.

Micrographia, the Region of Crete, the Municipality of Sitia and the STEGI VITSENTZOS KORNAROS cooperated for the realization of this particular performance, which takes place within the framework of the Festival of Crete in an action dedicated to women called "Women meet the Festival of Crete".
"Upgrade your way of thinking" was the theme of TEDx Sitia, which for the second year took place in the city, with a large program of speakers, in the halls of the Hellenic Mediterranean University.
At the Venetian Fortress of KAZARMA, the tango operetta "Maria of Buenos Aires" by the great composer Astor Piazzolla, to a libretto by Horacio Ferrer, was presented, with the participation of an orchestral ensemble of young musicians, under the musical direction of Yiannis Protopapas.
In the city of Sitia, there is a remarkable Folklore Museum with interesting exhibits that belong to the previous century and the beginning of our century and give a representational picture of the old life of the inhabitants of Sitia.
FESIVAL of Hamezi was organized for the first time in July 2023. An initiative of the Hamezio Educational House with music lessons, a dance class, a workshop of weaving and natural dyes as well as open events.
Three-day carnival with the "white night" established by the commercial association of Sitia, street parties and the climax of the great carnival parade.
Panagiotis Koufakis from Sitia participated in the 4th Balkan Physics Olympiad held in Nicosia and won honorable mention.
Sponsor of the 14th Sitia Treasure Hunt organized by the city groups.
Event dedicated to Stratis Kalogeridis, at the Barracks Fortress in Sitia, orchestrated and conducted by Yiannis Protopappa.
Erotokritos by Dimitris Maramis, a musical performance by Vamos Ensemble, co-financed by Stegis Vicentzos Kornaros, held at Alsos Chlouverakis in Sitia.
