You are invited to the opening of Maro Vassiliadou’s painting exhibition which is to be held on the ground floor of the Stegi VITSENTZOS KORNAROS premises (97, Vitsentzou Kornarou St, Sitia), on Saturday 16 December 2023, beginning at 7 pm.
The paintings exhibited are a selection from the artist’s latest years of work, mostly using rapidographs, pencils, dry pastels and coloured pencils, in which the human form as well as their feelings and body language prevail.
Maro Vassiliadou was born and raised in Athens, studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Fine Arts, and has recently moved to the village of Myrsini, near Sitia, where she now lives and works. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her latest work is the mural that decorates the outer wall of Stegi VITSENTZOS KORNAROS.
