You are invited to watch or attend Lefteris Perrotis’ on-line lecture, titled: “The final attempt towards Crete’s annexing to Greece: the example of Sitia (1889-1913)” which is to be given on Wednesday 6 December 2023, at 7 pm, on the occasion of this year’s 110th anniversary of the much sought-after annexing of Crete to Greece (1913-2023).
Lefteris Perrotis is a historian, a Modern and Contemporary History PhD candidate at the University of Ioannina, a Stegi VITSENTZOS KORNAROS research scholar, and an associate researcher at the Historic Research Lab of Modern and Contemporary Societies (Department of History and Archaeology, University of Ioannina).
